Job Description
Position summary: TRP Construction Group, LLC is seeking a dedicated full-time Laborer - Pavement Marking to join our team in the North Houston, Tomball, Tx. This role involves performing various tasks related to highway maintenance and pavement marking to enhance road safety and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements Responsibilities:
Perform various duties including traffic control, sign installation, and raised pavement markers application as assigned by supervisors. Complete equipment and vehicle repair reports accurately. Ensure all work complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) and quality guidelines. Maintain and inspect spray systems and other truck-mounted equipment; ensure vehicles are clean and properly loaded daily. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms diligently. Strive to maximize production efficiency on the job site. Operate and maintain multiple pieces of equipment as trained.Preferred Experience:
Experience operating hand machines, forklifts, hand grinders, 3M hand-tape machines, 3M adhesive applicators, and hand-roller tamper carts. Installation of Preformed Thermo/Hot Tape.Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a good driving record; CDL highly preferred. Clear background check including criminal record, driving record, and controlled substance/drug testing. Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations. Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations. Ability to use smartphones and relevant applications. Adherence to company safety policies and procedures. Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules.Physical Requirements:
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds. Work exposed to outdoor weather conditions, moving equipment and machinery parts, traffic, fumes, and airborne particles. Work in moderate to loud noise environments.Availability:
Monday through Friday with some nights and weekends as needed. Willingness to work overtime when required. Availability to travel with the company as necessary.
