Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a strong, hands-on Construction Landscaping Crew Leader to oversee daily field operations and keep landscape construction and hardscape projects running safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality. This is a working leadership role for someone who can direct a crew, coordinate materials and equipment, read plans, and complete projects according to scope.
Responsibilities:
Lead daily landscape construction and hardscape operations and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan Supervise crew members and assign tasks on-site Coordinate daily and short-term schedules to meet project deadlines and production goals Coordinate, stage, and manage construction materials, tools, and equipment Maintain high-quality standards for grading, excavation, irrigation, pavers, retaining walls, concrete preparation, planting, and other assigned construction work Enforce safety policies and company procedures Track and report labor hours, quantities, production progress, material needs, and jobsite issues Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and skills
Skills:
Proven experience in landscape construction, hardscaping, grading, irrigation, or a related construction trade Leadership experience managing crews in the field Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to read plans, take measurements, establish grades, and execute the scope of work Organized and dependable Ability to work outdoors in all conditions Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience installing pavers, retaining walls, irrigation systems, drainage, sod, plants, and landscape materials Knowledge of irrigation installation, valves, backflow systems, drainage, and basic troubleshooting Experience safely operating construction equipment, including skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, trenchers, and similar machinery Experience with job tracking, timekeeping, or production reporting. Ability to train and develop crew members in field operations OSHA safety knowledge or prior construction safety training. Experience with concrete preparation, masonry, or utility installation Fluency in both English and Spanish is helpful
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods of time. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.) Ability to operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely Join us as a Construction Crew Leader where your leadership will shape successful projects while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and excellence!

From $24.00 per hour
