We are a veteran-owned general contractor specializing in commercial renovations, apartment turns, residential remodeling, and maintenance services throughout Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded construction professional with experience in multiple trades who takes pride in producing high-quality work with minimal supervision. Every day is different—you may be repairing drywall, painting, installing doors, replacing flooring, installing cabinets, completing punch lists, or assisting with remodeling projects. Responsibilities Complete apartment turnovers and commercial punch list projects Perform drywall repairs, finishing, sanding, and texture matching Prepare and paint interior walls, ceilings, trim, and doors Install and repair baseboards, trim, doors, and hardware Install LVP, laminate, and other flooring materials Install cabinets, vanities, countertops, and fixtures Perform basic plumbing repairs including toilets, faucets, sinks, and disposals Perform basic electrical work including switches, outlets, light fixtures, and ceiling fans Complete general carpentry and remodeling tasks Maintain clean and organized job sites Follow company safety procedures and OSHA standards Communicate professionally with supervisors, property managers, and customers Work independently while also contributing as part of a team QualificationsRequired Minimum 3 years of remodeling, maintenance, or construction experience Experience in drywall finishing and interior painting Knowledge of basic carpentry Experience with light plumbing and light electrical work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Apartment turn or multifamily maintenance experience Commercial renovation experience Cabinet installation Flooring installation Tile repair Ability to work independently with minimal supervision What We Offer Competitive pay: $25-35 per hour , based on experience Weekly pay Full-time, year-round work Opportunities for advancement Work with a growing veteran-owned company Diverse commercial, multifamily, and residential projects Why Join Affinity Contracting?
