Responsibilities Assist with the installation of building materials, including drywall, flooring, tile, stucco, and trim carpentry. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, measuring, and fitting materials. Support carpentry work, including door hanging, window installation, and framing tasks. Conduct construction inspections to ensure adherence to plans and safety protocols. Use Bluebeam software for reviewing and interpreting technical drawings and construction plans. Help with heavy equipment operation when necessary for site preparation or material handling. Perform outdoor work on hardscaping projects like patios or walkways, ensuring proper layout and installation. Assist with electrical and plumbing tasks under supervision, supporting the overall construction process. Maintain a clean and organized job site by properly storing tools and disposing of debris. Follow safety procedures diligently to ensure a secure working environment for all team members. Experience Prior construction experience is highly preferred; familiarity with building sites is a plus. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes is advantageous. Experience interpreting technical drawings using Bluebeam or similar software. Background in various building trades such as drywall installation, plastering, caulking, or glass installation is beneficial. Outdoor work experience on hardscaping or remodeling projects demonstrates versatility in construction environments.
