Construction Helper KDF Construction Virginia Beach, VA Job Details Full-time $14 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Measuring tapes Outdoor work experience Dimensional measurements Construction industry experience Ability to follow instructions Power tools Hand tools Demolition Full Job Description Overview We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Construction Helper to assist with demolition and building residential decks and sunrooms. This is a hands-on position for someone who has basic construction knowledge, is comfortable using common tools, and takes pride in doing quality work. This position pays based on experience. Willing to training a new helper with minimal experience but you must be able to read measurements and take instructions. More experienced applicants with construction experience will take priority.
What We're Looking For:
REQUIRED
Reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites
REQUIRED
Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions Basic knowledge of general construction Comfortable using common hand and power tools Ability to accurately read a tape measure and take basic measurements Owns some basic construction tools Dependable and punctual Ability to work independently Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, standing, bending, and working on job sites Willingness to learn and improve skills
Preferred Experience:
Prior construction site experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Familiarity with building decks and sunrooms is a plus Knowledge or ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately
Pay:
$14.00 - $20.00 per hour
