Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an
EXPERIENCED
Skilled Laborer to join our underground utilities team. You will handle pipe installation and perform critical system testing. This role requires heavy physical labor and strong technical knowledge of utility infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities Install Pipes :
Lay sewer, water, and storm drain pipes to exact grade specifications.
Prepare Trenches :
Dig, shore, and grade trenches safely before installing utilities.
Test Sewer Lines :
Conduct low-pressure air testing and deflection mandrel testing.
Test Water Mains :
Perform hydrostatic pressure testing and chlorination sampling.
Test Vacuum Systems :
Execute vacuum testing on sewer manholes and specialized lines.
Operate Equipment :
Tapping tools, and hand tools.
Ensure Safety :
Follow OSHA trenching, excavation, and confined space regulations.
Qualifications and Skills Experience :
Minimum 2-3 years in underground utility construction.
Testing Expertise :
Proven experience running pressure, vacuum, and hydrostatic tests.
Physical Fitness :
Capable of lifting 50+ pounds and working in outdoor elements.
Certifications :
Competent Person, Confined Space, or OSHA 10 certification is highly preferred.
License :
Valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL is a plus. Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Health, dental, and vision insurance. Paid time off and holiday pay. 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Schedule
