Woodworking Full Job Description Mission Statement:
Onward Construction exists to serve our customers and move their business forward with integrity. We develop and manage commercial projects to include facility maintenance and repairs, remodels and new construction including tenant improvements and ground up facilities. Our success depends on establishing and maintaining dependable relationships with our partners, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver top-tier services and earn our customers' referrals.
Base Requirements:
  • Must be over 20
  • Must have a clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours when the job schedule requires it.
  • Experience with trucks and trailering preferred
  • Understanding of basic carpentry and hand tools
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs
  • Coachable and willing to learn on the job
Job Duties:
This position will work with and report to the Site Superintendent.
Other duties include:
  • Loading and unloading materials, equipment and trash
  • Perform basic carpentry tasks such installing blocking, backing and wall patching
  • Help maintain fleet vehicle cleanliness
  • Follow OSHA Safety standard as set forth by the Superintendent
  • Maintain active CPR certification
  • Maintain a tobacco, alcohol and drug free job at all times
  • Maintain a clean, organized and presentable job site at all times
  • Attend all required meetings and workshops
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while at work
Pay:
$23.00 per hour
