Job Description

Join a respected hospital in Port Angeles, WA, as a full-time licensed Pharmacist. This role offers a competitive salary of up to $212,000 per year and a consistent 5x8 day shift schedule, promoting an excellent work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, verify, and accurately dispense physician medication orders. Evaluate medication dosing, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications. Provide clinical consultation and pharmacotherapy recommendations to providers and nursing staff. Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and ancillary staff. Maintain compliance with state, federal, and hospital pharmacy regulations. Participate in medication safety programs and quality assurance initiatives. Monitor inpatient medication therapy for safety and effectiveness. Support patient education and discharge counseling when applicable. Utilize EMR systems and automated dispensing technology effectively.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited program or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy if grandfathered and currently licensed. Active Washington State Pharmacist License in good standing. Current BLS Certification (AHA). Immunization Certification. Board Certification such as BCPS.
Preferred Skills:
Hospital pharmacy experience. Strong knowledge of inpatient medication management. Experience with EMR systems and automated dispensing systems. Familiarity with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
