General Laborer Pay:
Starting at $19.00/hr
Pay Progression:
+$1.00 after 90-day probation +$1.00 at 6 months +$1.00 at 1 year
Schedule:
Start time: 6:15 AM (must be ready to be on the road by 6:15 AM) 10-hour shifts (with overtime, especially in winter) Winter schedule may include early starts as early as 3:00 AM (up to 3 times per week) Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Field Technician to support field operations involving pipe assembly, cartridge handling, and site setup. This role requires working outdoors, performing physical labor, and following strict safety and procedural guidelines. This is a hands-on position with variety in daily tasks, including equipment setup, pipe assembly, and confined space work. Candidates must be reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working in physically demanding conditions. Key Responsibilities Place cones in designated areas according to site map and guidelines Take photos of completed setups and upload into company app via tablet Assemble and connect 10-ft ADS pipe sections ("running pipe") Build, connect, pump, and break down pipe systems as needed Pick up and return cartridges from job sites Perform cartridge exchanges, including pulling and lowering cartridges Work in confined spaces as required following safety procedures Use mechanical winch for handling heavier cartridges (15-100 lbs) Maintain organized work practices and follow detailed instructions Use Jobber software for job tracking and updates Qualifications Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Highly organized and dependable Comfortable using tablets and mobile job tracking apps Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments Willingness to work in confined spaces (with proper training and safety protocols) Team-oriented with a strong work ethic Prior field, construction, utility, or labor experience is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift 15-50 lbs regularly Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with mechanical assistance or team lift Work in outdoor environments in varying weather conditions Enter and work in confined spaces when required Stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day What We Offer Entry-level opportunity with training provided Steady 10-hour shifts with overtime potential Paid training and on-the-job support Structured pay increases at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year Opportunity for long-term growth within field operations Paid Sick and Safe Leave in accordance with state law (OR/WA depending on assignment) Medical, dental, vision, and term life insurance options available Vacation pay - 1 week after 2,000 hours worked Holiday bonus - 5 days• Refer-A-Friend bonus program• #EO09
