Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer/Leadman, where you'll play a vital role in executing diverse building projects with energy and precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead on-site activities, coordinate tasks, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship across a variety of construction projects. As a key team member, you'll be responsible for assisting with the installation of building materials, operating heavy equipment, and maintaining safety standards—all while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Your expertise will help bring innovative construction visions to life, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction crews on-site, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently Assist with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans to guide installation processes Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate building activities such as framing, roofing, or material handling Install various building materials including drywall, stucco, trim carpentry, cabinetry, glass, and plumbing fixtures Conduct quality inspections of work performed to ensure compliance with safety protocols and project specifications Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to schedule deliveries and manage workflow effectively Perform outdoor work across different weather conditions while adhering to all safety guidelines Support the setup and breakdown of job sites, including site cleanup and organization of tools and materials Experience Proven construction experience with a strong background in building construction, remodeling, or related fields Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans using tools like Bluebeam or similar software Hands-on experience with carpentry, trim carpentry, window installation, electrical work, plumbing, plastering, caulking, stucco application, hardscape installation, and glass or cabinet installation Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for various construction tasks Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or excavators is preferred Knowledge of safety protocols specific to construction sites and outdoor work environments Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and interpreting technical instructions This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
