In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to the successful delivery of commercial and residential projects, providing a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers a chance to gain valuable experience across various construction disciplines while supporting the creation of high-quality structures. Responsibilities Assist with general site preparation, including loading and unloading materials and equipment Perform heavy lifting tasks to move supplies, tools, and materials around the construction site Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and trim carpentry Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete tasks like cutting, drilling, and fastening Aid in concrete work including mixing, pouring, finishing, and form installation for foundations or slabs Install rebar reinforcement for concrete structures following schematics and blueprints Contribute to masonry work such as bricklaying, stucco application, or stone setting as needed Support roofing activities including material handling and basic installation tasks Assist with demolition, restoration, or renovation projects by removing debris or preparing surfaces Follow safety protocols diligently while working with heavy equipment or in potentially hazardous environments Requirements Prior construction site experience or related manual labor background preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping is a plus Experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation, tile laying or flooring installation is desirable Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking Valid driver's license for commercial driving may be required depending on project needs Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining safety standards Join our team today to build a solid foundation for your career!
