General Laborer Job Description As a General Laborer, you will be assisting with a variety of projects throughout the shop including operating fabrication machinery, operating forklifts, grinding and deburring materials, assisting with assembling products, and much more. In addition to this, you could be asked to assist with shipping tasks and using overhead cranes to move materials throughout the shop.- This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the skilled trades
- Responsibilities Work from blueprints and written instructions Operate drill presses, saws, and CNC Lasers Complete mechanical assembly of various projects Use a variety of hand, air, and power tools Debur and finish metal parts Essential Skills Prior experience in construction, mechanic, assembly, or metal fabrication preferred Comfortable using a tape measure Comfortable using hand and power tools Why Work Here?
