  • This role focuses on installing a variety of exterior cladding systems on commercial projects, including metal siding, fiber cement siding, and composite wall panels. You will support experienced installers on large-scale commercial buildings, contributing to high-quality, durable exterior finishes across multiple projects in an urban environment.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Install metal siding, fiber cement siding, composite wall panels, and other exterior cladding systems on commercial buildings.
+ Assist with layout, measurement, and alignment of siding and exterior cladding to ensure accurate and consistent installation. + Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to cut, fasten, and secure exterior materials according to specifications. + Support experienced siding installers with material handling, staging, and preparation of work areas. + Follow construction plans, instructions, and project specifications to complete tasks efficiently and accurately. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including proper storage and handling of tools and materials. + Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all site safety rules and procedures. + Work reliably as part of a crew, communicating clearly with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate tasks and resolve issues on site. + Demonstrate strong attendance and punctuality to support project schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Essential Skills
  • + At least 1 year of siding experience, specifically working with exterior cladding systems.
+ Hands-on experience in construction labor, particularly in exteriors and siding installation. + Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools. + Strong attendance record and reliability in previous roles. + Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and working at heights on commercial job sites. + Commitment to following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment as directed. + Ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + Experience with metal siding, fiber cement siding, and composite wall panels on commercial projects.
+ Knowledge in exterior construction or cladding installation on mid- to large-scale buildings. + Strong work ethic and willingness to learn advanced siding and cladding techniques from experienced installers. + Comfort working in an urban setting with multiple ongoing commercial projects. + No formal certifications required for this role.

  • Work Environment
  • This position is based on commercial construction job sites, with a strong concentration of work in downtown Milwaukee.

The role requires regular use of hand and power tools and adherence to site safety protocols. The company provides required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, steel-toe footwear, high-visibility gear, and safety goggles. Work is field-based rather than office-based, and you can expect a physically demanding environment typical of commercial construction.

  • This is a Contract position based out of Oak Creek, WI.
  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
