Now Hiring!! Skilled Laborer - Weirton, WV Job Description We are seeking motivated Skilled Laborers to join our growing operation in Weirton, WV. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level to intermediate candidates who are eager to build a long-term career in the skilled trades. Our operation employs a feeder-system training model, bringing in laborers and developing them into one of four core skilled crafts: Welding, Fitting, Pipe Installation, and Pipe Fabrication. Prior experience in any of these areas is preferred but not required—hands-on training, mentorship, and clear advancement paths will be provided. Responsibilities Assist with daily production tasks within the manufacturing facility. Support skilled trades teams (welders, fitters, pipe installers, fabricators) with material handling, prep work, and basic assembly. Learn and follow shop procedures, safety standards, and quality expectations. Operate tools, equipment, and machinery as trained (grinders, saws, hand tools, measuring tools, etc.). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Participate in on-the-job training programs designed to build skills toward a long-term trade. Collaborate with supervisors and craftsmen to support efficient workflow and project completion. Essential Skills Strong work ethic and willingness to learn a skilled trade. Ability to follow instructions and work within a team environment. Basic mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in welding, fitting, pipe installation, or pipe fabrication is preferred. Previous manufacturing, construction, or industrial labor experience is advantageous. Familiarity with hand and power tools is beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is a loud, dusty, and fast-paced industrial environment. The facility is not climate-controlled, so employees should be prepared to work in varying conditions Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Weirton, WV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
