Overview We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale construction projects with precision and efficiency. This pivotal role demands a dynamic leader capable of managing multiple teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring extensive construction management experience, a strong understanding of technical drawings, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction teams on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met consistently. Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling software to ensure timely project delivery. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to guide team activities effectively. Manage project budgets, track costs, and oversee procurement processes utilizing HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools. Oversee construction safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and federal safety standards across all site activities. Monitor progress through regular site inspections, quality control checks, and adherence to construction regulations. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project execution. Supervise crew management efforts including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Review contracts, manage change orders, and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled accurately. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising large teams on active sites. Proficiency with Primavera P6 or Primavera for project scheduling; experience with Construction Management software like ProCore or Bluebeam is highly desirable. Extensive knowledge of OSHA standards, federal construction safety regulations, and construction site safety management practices. Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately. Demonstrated skills in managing budgets, contracts, and procurement processes using HeavyBid or similar tools. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Hands-on experience with construction drawing review, schedule coordination, quality control measures, and supervising diverse crews. Familiarity with Ohmmeter usage for electrical testing is a plus; knowledge of pipeline projects is advantageous. Construction safety certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour or 500-Hour preferred; relevant industry certifications are a plus.
