This vital role involves coordinating all aspects of civil construction activities, managing teams, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional management skills, and a deep understanding of construction management software and regulations to drive project success and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction crews on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. Develop, review, and interpret construction drawings, technical plans, and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of project scope. Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling software to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation. Familiar with supervising the installation of piping systems as wide as 96 inches Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining quality standards. Oversee safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Monitor project budgets, track costs using HeavyBid or comparable tools, and implement cost control measures to stay within financial parameters. Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation via ProCore, Prolog or other construction management software to ensure contractual compliance. Conduct quality control inspections, supervise construction site activities, and ensure adherence to all relevant construction regulations. Manage project documentation including daily reports, incident reports, and progress logs; facilitate effective communication among team members. Interpret technical drawings and technical specifications accurately for team guidance; supervise the review process for construction drawings. Lead project meetings to coordinate construction schedule updates, resolve issues promptly, and manage team performance effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising large teams on active sites. Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately. Strong understanding of OSHA standards, federal safety regulations, and construction safety management practices. Excellent managerial communication skills with experience managing crews in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with contract administration including reviewing contracts and change orders effectively. Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, quality control processes, and managing multiple stakeholders simultaneously. Construction site experience in commercial or infrastructure projects is essential; pipeline experience is a plus. Ability to use measurement tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when required on site. Valid certifications related to OSHA safety standards; additional certifications in construction management or supervisory roles are preferred.
