Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Install Lead to oversee and coordinate installation projects across various construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that all installation activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications. As a leader on the ground, you will manage a team of skilled installers, liaise with clients and project managers, and uphold the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise in construction management, technical skills, and customer service will drive successful project outcomes and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Plan, direct and oversee all installation of fabricated metals. Train, develop and lead the installation team. Ensure jobsite safety is a top priority. Coordinate equipment rentals for each project. Attend site specific safety and pre-planning meetings. Assist project manager with hiring, training, and evaluation of installation team. Ensure final product meets all plans, specifications, and quality requirements. Communicate with project managers any deviations from scope of work. Communicate directly with jobsite superintendent and other trades to coordinate work. Assist with pre-build measuring and site condition verification as needed. Complete necessary safety trainings and equipment operator certifications. Interpret, perform, and pass inspections for all structural welds. Participate in leadership committees such as safety committee and employee volunteer programs. Reliably meet or exceed estimated installation times. Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans Hands-on experience with, material fabrication, and fixture installation Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about project status or technical issues Capable of taking precise dimensional measurements using tape measures or laser tools for accurate material fitting Familiarity with construction safety protocols including ladder use and working at heights Ability to operate or coordinate the use of heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling Join our team as a Field Install Lead if you're passionate about leading impactful projects through your technical expertise and leadership skills.
