This role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires senior leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously across the entire construction lifecycle. The Senior Director of Construction will drive the company's growth, lead and mentor the construction team, and ensure all new-store developments and ongoing maintenance initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest standard of operational excellence. Essential Duties ​​​​​​​• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the construction department, overseeing new-store construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Conduct onsite visits and comprehensive site surveys to monitor progress, resolve complex issues, and determine if the planned space is viable for the business model. Manage strategic maintenance planning and execution for all existing store locations, including overseeing the construction team's delegation of repair requests. • Coordinate complex new-store layouts, construction scheduling, and activities with internal departments (Operations, F&B, Licensing, etc.), external vendors, and contractors. Review and approve contracts with various contractors, prepare deep budget/spending analyses, and continuously find ways to improve and refine construction, procurement, and development processes. * Will also perform other assignments that may be assigned from time to time by the senior management. Woking Location Cerritos,CA Salary/Benefit $108.160~$114.400 Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO (10 days in the first year) Holidays Saturdays, Sundays and holidays ​​​​​​​This role requires regular weekend work and may include work on holidays based on business needs. Qualifications ​​​​​​​• 4-year college degree in Construction Management, Business Management, or a similar field preferred but not required Ten (10) + years' of experience in construction or facilities management. Three (3) + years' of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-site projects on time and on budget. Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing routine documents, reports, and strategic action plans for executive leadership. Japanese or Spanish language ability is advantageous in completing core tasks. Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-paced environment. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). AutoCAD 2D experience and the ability to review/interpret architectural drawings is highly desirable.

$108,160.00 - $114,400.00 per year
