Full Job Description About Us:
We are a well-established general contracting firm specializing in ground-up construction projects. In addition to general construction, we proudly handle mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work in-house—providing comprehensive service and expertise to every project.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 7 years of construction experience . Experience managing healthcare projects under OSHPD/HCAi regulations is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, proactive, and capable of independently managing all field operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This individual must be a strong leader who can effectively coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders while keeping projects on schedule and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, project specifications, and quality standards Conduct daily site inspections and maintain accurate project documentation Coordinate inspections with local authorities, HCAi representatives, and project consultants as required Identify and proactively resolve field issues to minimize schedule impacts Maintain effective communication with project managers, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners Lead project site meetings and promote a positive, team-oriented jobsite culture
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of construction experience , including significant experience supervising ground-up commercial projects OSHPD/HCAi healthcare construction experience strongly preferred Proven ability to manage multiple trades and complex construction activities Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Strong understanding of construction scheduling, safety regulations, and quality control procedures Proficient with construction technology, project documentation, and reporting tools (we utilize Procore)
