Job Description

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Hoopa Valley Public Utilities District (HVPUD) HVPUD runs a multi-faceted operation spanning telecom (fiber and wireless), water infrastructure, and alternative energy. We're seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction and related activities across our divisions, a self-starter who understands the technical nuances of construction regulations and can communicate effectively with staff and leadership alike. This is a full-time, permanent position.
SALARY:
$80,000 - $125,000/year + benefits
REQUIREMENTS
Min. 7 years construction experience, specifically in telecom, with real field construction experience Min. 5 years construction supervisory experience Min. 5 years telecommunications industry experience (fiber construction and network infrastructure) Construction Management training/certification with field experience Strong understanding of OSHA requirements and construction regulations (GO95, etc.) Previous experience with traffic control/flaggers in California Valid driver's license meeting Tribal Insurable Requirements This position is subject to the Tribe's Alcohol and Drug Policy, including pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable cause, and re-entry testing.
