full-time An established and highly respected residential builder is seeking an Assistant Preconstruction Manager to support the planning and delivery of some of Los Angeles' most prestigious custom homes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team known for delivering exceptional luxury residences throughout West Hollywood and surrounding high-end neighborhoods. About the Role Working closely with senior preconstruction and project leadership, you will play a key role in the early phases of complex custom residential projects, helping turn visionary designs into successful construction programs. Key Responsibilities Assist with project budgeting, estimating, and cost planning. Prepare quantity take-offs and pricing packages. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals. Support value engineering and constructability reviews. Coordinate with architects, consultants, designers, and project teams. Help develop project schedules and procurement strategies. Review plans and specifications for completeness and accuracy. Maintain estimating databases, bid logs, and project documentation. Participate in client and design team meetings as needed. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, project engineering, or construction management. Experience within residential construction preferred, particularly custom homes or high-end residential projects. Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and estimating principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and estimating software. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
