You know how a renewable project can look fine on paper while the field tells a different story. This is the role where you're close enough to the work to see the gaps-and experienced enough to know what needs attention before they become schedule, safety, quality, or cost problems. What you'll do You'll be the owner-side presence on a utility-scale renewable energy site, working alongside the EPC, contractors, OEMs, suppliers, engineering, and the project team.

You'll:

Monitor construction against drawings, scope, permits, contracts, and industry standards. Keep a close eye on safety, quality, environmental compliance, productivity, logistics, and schedule. Walk the site, inspect work, identify issues, and intervene when safety concerns need immediate correction. Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and site personnel without stepping into the EPC's means-and-methods responsibilities. Track milestones, material and OEM deliveries, procurement issues, and anything threatening the critical path. Lead site meetings, document progress and resolutions, and communicate what's happening to the CPM and broader project team. Help drive quality inspections, First Build, Golden Row/Golden Tower reviews, and Care, Custody & Control transfers. What you get This is a chance to put your construction management experience directly into utility-scale solar or wind projects-not just support them from an office. The rate is $60-$70/hr , with $160/day per diem available under project rules, plus company-provided truck and laptop and a cell phone allowance. For qualifying project-based travel, rotations can occur every four weeks. The project is based in Mendota, CA , and this is an onsite role. Who you are You've spent at least three years in construction management, with roughly 3-5 years in utility-scale solar or wind. You understand EPC contracts, construction sequencing, field execution, and what it takes to keep safety, quality, and schedule moving together. More importantly, you're comfortable leading contractors, spotting problems early, and communicating clearly when the field doesn't match the plan. Want the details before you decide anything?
