This role is vital in ensuring the successful execution of complex HVAC systems on commercial and industrial construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction management experience, and a deep understanding of technical drawings, safety regulations, and project scheduling. As an HVAC Superintendent, you will coordinate teams, manage subcontractors, ensure compliance with safety standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will drive project excellence from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and supervision of HVAC installation activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications and schedules Manage and direct construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to optimize productivity and quality of work Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints to interpret design intent and identify potential issues early in the process Oversee construction schedule coordination using tools such as Primavera P6 or Procore to ensure timely completion of project milestones Enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, quality control, and compliance with safety protocols Review contracts, change orders, and procurement documents using Construction management software like Prolog or HeavyBid to manage project budgets effectively Coordinate with project managers on construction schedule updates and technical drawing review to facilitate seamless workflow Supervise the installation of HVAC systems including piping, ductwork, controls, and equipment while managing technical challenges using tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing Ensure all work aligns with industry standards for construction safety management and quality assurance Experience Proven experience managing large-scale HVAC or mechanical construction projects within commercial or industrial settings Extensive background in construction site management with a focus on HVAC systems installation and commissioning Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawings interpretation, and construction drawing review processes Familiarity with construction scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Procore for project timeline management Hands-on experience supervising teams in a fast-paced construction environment with excellent crew management skills Knowledge of federal safety regulations including OSHA standards related to heavy equipment operation and hazardous materials handling Ability to interpret technical specifications and manage multiple subcontractors effectively Demonstrated competence in managing project budgets, change orders, and procurement processes using relevant software tools like Prolog or HeavyBid Skilled in managing construction safety programs focusing on quality control and risk mitigation strategies Join us if you're ready to lead impactful HVAC projects with energy, precision, and professionalism.
