Job Description

Summary:
We are representing a reputable general contractor seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities. The Superintendent serves as the quarterback of the project team, directing field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership, field management, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to the company's values and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules Oversee and manage self-performed work when required Conduct daily jobsite inspections and enforce safety compliance Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to address field challenges Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications Prepare and submit daily reports, updates, and documentation Resolve conflicts and unforeseen issues in real time Uphold the highest standards of safety and OSHA compliance
Qualifications:
Hands-on knowledge of building systems and construction techniques Minimum 7+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience Proven ability to manage construction teams, including subcontractor personnel Strong scheduling skills and experience managing critical timelines Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems collaboratively Unwavering commitment to jobsite safety; knowledge of OSHA standards required
HCAI/OSHPD
project experience preferred for healthcare-related work Loyalty, humility, and a can-do attitude Compensation +
