Job Description

General Description:
Working on elementary school campuses, BASE Programs is an expanded learning program that provides quality enrichment opportunities to elementary-aged students during non-school hours. We are a curriculum-based program focused on STEM, Visual & Performing Arts, and Physical Education. In collaboration with Oceanside Unified School District, we provide expanded learning programs at 14 elementary schools in Oceanside and Camp Pendleton. Position Overview The Roving AM Lead ensures standard compliance, curriculum execution, and operational consistency across 7 to 14 morning school enrichment programs. This role provides hands-on coaching to onsite staff, handles immediate morning coverage needs, and supports overall program quality. Key Responsibilities Site Supervision & Roving Rove daily among assigned morning enrichment sites to conduct program check-ins and safety audits. Ensure all sites operate according to organization standards, safety guidelines, and schedule requirements. Provide real-time feedback, problem-solving, and on-site guidance to morning staff. Audit and correct staff time cards at the home base office daily to ensure accurate payroll processing. Manage and update the central attendance tracker for all roving program sites. Coordinate morning call-outs and immediately dispatch substitute staff to sites to maintain required ratios.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent (Experience)
Experience:
1-2 years in youth program administration, before/after-school care, or site management.
Licensing:
Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of insurance for site-to-site travel.
Skills:
Strong communication skills for rapid sub-dispatching, proficiency in administrative software for attendance and timecards, and leadership experience supervising staff.
