Type:
full-time Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day field operations of a variety of commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, enforce safety and quality standards, and work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily construction activities and subcontractor performance. Coordinate site logistics, scheduling, inspections, and materials. Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications. Lead subcontractor coordination and weekly jobsite meetings. Identify and resolve field issues and coordination conflicts. Maintain daily reports, documentation, and project records. Communicate effectively with clients, architects, inspectors, and the project team.
Requirements:
5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience. Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, plans, and specifications. Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain project schedules. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
