Job Description
Position Summary Dec 9 Enterprise Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Supervisor to oversee a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) providing care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The supervisor will ensure staff are delivering high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining compliance with Regional Center requirements and company standards. This role involves supporting staff who work in 2:1 staffing environments and assisting individuals both in their homes and in community settings. Responsibilities Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) providing care in 2:1 support settings Ensure staff follow care plans, behavioral support strategies, and daily routines Monitor and review documentation and service notes to ensure accuracy and compliance Train and mentor staff on caregiving techniques and person-centered support Assist with staff scheduling and ensure adequate service coverage Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and support teams to ensure quality care Ensure compliance with HIPAA , safety protocols, and Regional Center requirements Respond to incidents and ensure proper documentation and reporting procedures Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for individuals served Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Knowledge of person-centered support and behavioral support strategies Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to observe and document behavioral or health changes in individuals served Ability to assist with mobility support and physical tasks when necessary Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background check and clearance requirements Preferred Certifications First Aid and CPR Certification Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or similar behavioral support training Experience in human service delivery systems
