We specialize in multifamily garden, wrap, and podium construction, the complex, crane-dependent projects most subcontractors avoid. With our own contract-grow nursery, equipment fleet, and architectural pottery fabrication, our project teams control material, schedule, and cost in ways few competitors can. The Role You'll work alongside our Project Manager on multifamily projects from $750K to $3M+, from contract award through closeout. You'll own defined parts of each project from day one and take on more as you prove yourself. This is a development position with a real path to Project Manager. Responsibilities Project Execution Support management of market-rate and affordable multifamily projects, including wrap and podium jobs requiring crane and specialized equipment operations Maintain project schedules and coordinate resources with operations and field leadership Walk jobsites regularly to verify progress, quantities, and site conditions Cost & Documentation Draft change order requests with complete backup and track them through GC approval Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation in our cloud-based project management platform Track job costs against budget and coordinate with accounting on job costing Prepare pay application backup Coordination Direct Project Engineers on assigned daily project tasks Work with Estimating during preconstruction handoff to confirm scope and quantities Coordinate material procurement with Purchasing and our internal and external nurseries Coordinate synthetic turf, tot lot, architectural pottery, and behind-curb storm drainage scopes Quality & Closeout Verify work against plans, specifications, and local codes Manage warranty documentation, as-builts, and closeout packages Support OSHA compliance and assist with safety reporting Required Qualifications 3+ years in commercial landscape construction as an Assistant PM, Project Engineer, or Project Coordinator Hands-on experience on commercial projects of $1M+ Ability to read landscape, irrigation, grading, and drainage plans Working knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape construction methods Strong Excel skills for cost tracking and reporting Clear, professional written communication Valid California driver's license and regular travel to Southern California jobsites Preferred Qualifications Multifamily wrap or podium project experience Procore or similar cloud-based project management software experience Knowledge of prevailing wage, bonding, and SWPPP requirements Botanical plant name knowledge Bilingual English/Spanish Degree in Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or a related field Landscape Industry Certified, PMP, or LEED certification Compensation & Benefits $80,000
