The Project Manager is expected to have a wide field of experience and will manage and build large-scale residential landscape projects, some of which will include site development projects from inception through completion. :- Conduct accurate material take-offs and cost estimates for landscape projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Review and approve construction plans, ensuring they are complete, feasible, and compliant with codes.
- Coordinate with team to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Lead project approval submissions, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Manage construction teams, labor, and subcontractors to ensure projects are on budget, on schedule, and of high quality.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and resolving any issues.
- Oversee labor, equipment dispatch, and resource utilization to maintain project flow and quality standards.
- Monitor and report on daily and weekly project progress, ensuring all work aligns with specifications.
- Manage labor force & subcontractors to ensure labor budgets are on track
- Maintain accurate daily and weekly Foremen and Superintendent activity logs, updating production tracking reports
CAPABILITIES/KEY COMPETENCIES
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques and materials, especially in masonry, pools, hardscape, soft-scape, and woodwork.
- Able to instruct and oversee the production of sections, construction details that clearly communicate how the project is to be built.
- Familiarity with local and national building codes and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and project management skills. Strong project scheduling and coordination skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in construction management and project management. Excellence in customer service.
- knowledgeable in landscape, masonry, pavers, and demo is a plus
- Bilingual Spanish is a must
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 5-10 years of experience in construction.
- Experience in value engineering construction projects.
