We're looking for a compassionate, dependable Residential Services Coordinator to help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. If you're someone who stays calm under pressure, treats people with dignity, communicates well, and wants your work to have a meaningful impact, we'd love to meet you. This is also a great opportunity to build hands-on experience in human services, housing, crisis response, behavioral health, and community services. What You'll Do As an RSC, you'll help keep the program safe, welcoming, and running smoothly.
Your day-to-day work may include:
Support clients with compassion: Respond to questions, everyday needs, and challenging situations with patience, respect, and professionalism.
Respond during difficult moments:
Use a calm, supportive approach to help de-escalate situations and connect clients with appropriate resources.
Keep the site safe:
Conduct regular safety rounds, monitor cameras and site activity, and respond appropriately to concerns.
Welcome new clients:
Support move-ins, transitions, and move-outs while helping create a positive and respectful experience.
Keep things running:
Organize supplies, meals, donations, and shared spaces so the program operates smoothly.
Document and communicate:
Complete shift logs, reports, and other documentation while keeping the team informed.
Create a welcoming environment:
Interact professionally with clients, volunteers, donors, visitors, and community partners. What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?
