The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications. The ideal candidate is an organized, hands-on construction professional who takes ownership of the job and can effectively communicate with subcontractors, project managers, clients, and inspectors. Responsibilities Oversee daily construction activities and field operations. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel. Maintain project schedules and communicate schedule updates. Review plans, specifications, and project documents. Coordinate inspections and ensure work meets applicable codes and project requirements. Monitor workmanship, quality control, and jobsite progress. Identify and address field issues and conflicts before they impact the schedule. Conduct and/or participate in jobsite meetings. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite. Track materials, deliveries, manpower, and jobsite activities. Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding progress, delays, changes, and potential issues. Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and final completion. Ensure subcontractors are performing work in accordance with the contract documents.
