Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Job Description

New Century Construction is seeking an experienced, highly organized Construction Project Coordinator to help manage residential, commercial, and public works projects. This is not a field superintendent position. The coordinator will work closely with company leadership to keep projects organized, scheduled, documented, and moving forward.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain project schedules Track construction phases and identify upcoming requirements Coordinate permits, inspections, utilities, gas and electrical connections, materials, windows, doors, and deliveries Maintain project deadlines, documents, and follow-ups in our CRM and scheduling systems Contact subcontractors and vendors to obtain proposals and pricing Compare bids and follow up on missing information Coordinate material orders and confirm delivery dates Track submittals, RFIs, change orders, inspections, and outstanding documentation Communicate with project owners, subcontractors, vendors, utility companies, and public agencies Identify missing items or potential delays before they affect the project schedule Prepare weekly project updates, priority lists, and action items Help develop and improve internal systems and procedures as the company grows
Qualifications:
Previous construction project coordination or project management experience required Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project timelines Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, materials, permits, and inspections Excellent organization, follow-through, and communication skills Comfortable making calls, requesting information, and consistently following up Able to manage multiple active projects and deadlines Proficient with email, spreadsheets, calendars, CRM systems, and document organization Able to work independently while communicating clearly with company leadership Public works or commercial construction experience is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time, Monday through Friday Office-based position in Turlock, California $25-$33 per hour, depending on construction experience
