Job Description

CenCore is seeking an experienced Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) to support secure construction activity at a data center facility. This role monitors construction operations, access activity, materials, equipment, and site conditions to help ensure compliance with security protocols, construction standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. The Construction Surveillance Technician works closely with construction managers, security personnel, project managers, and other stakeholders to maintain the integrity and security of the site throughout the construction process. Key Responsibilities Conduct continuous surveillance of construction site activity to ensure adherence to security protocols, construction standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.

Monitor and control access to the construction site, ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted entry.

Verify that construction activities align with approved plans, specifications, security requirements, and project expectations.

Perform regular site inspections to confirm work is completed in accordance with quality, safety, and security standards.

Identify, document, and report security breaches, safety violations, non-compliance issues, suspicious activity, or other concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain detailed daily logs, incident reports, activity records, observations, and other required documentation.

Coordinate with construction managers, security personnel, project managers, and stakeholders to address and resolve security or compliance concerns.

Provide regular updates and reports regarding construction activity, site status, identified issues, and recommended follow-up actions.

Support safe site operations by following established safety protocols and reporting unsafe conditions promptly.
