Manager of Operations Position Summary The Installation Manager oversees replacement window, siding, and door installations within an assigned market. This role manages installation teams, independent contractors, warehouse operations, job-site quality, and customer issue resolution to ensure every project meets company standards for workmanship, safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Recruit, train, supervise, and develop direct reports. Select, onboard, and manage 1099 installation crews. Maintain installer skill matrices, validate crew qualifications, and process installer payments. Coordinate with scheduling teams to assign qualified crews to each project. Manage installation projects through completion, including service calls and field measurements. Review sold projects to confirm all required materials are ordered and received before installation. Oversee warehouse inventory, material availability, and scheduled audits. Conduct job-site inspections and quality audits to ensure installation standards are met. Monitor installation run rates, crew performance, and GuildQuality scores. Resolve installation-related customer concerns. Attend remeasurement appointments and deliver job-site materials when needed. Review and approve additional job-site costs. Maintain a driving record that meets company insurance requirements. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Four or more years of relevant leadership experience. Four or more years of general construction experience. Three or more years of customer issue-resolution experience. At least one year of window industry experience, including measuring and service; installation experience may substitute for service experience. Experience managing or working with installation crews. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications College degree, technical certification, or other postsecondary education. Warehouse or inventory management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. CRM experience; Salesforce experience is a plus. Customer-focused leadership approach. Success in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
