This on-site role supports classified and sensitive construction environments by guiding CST execution, coordinating site-security activities, reviewing surveillance documentation, and escalating concerns that could affect security, accreditation, or mission continuity. The LCST works closely with security personnel, project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to reinforce approved procedures and consistent coverage. The successful candidate brings substantial CST experience, sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to guide others without compromising established security requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate construction surveillance activities for secure construction and renovation projects. Oversee implementation of site-security measures and reinforce compliance with approved security plans, procedures, access requirements, and applicable national security standards. Guide CSTs and construction personnel on surveillance expectations, security protocols, and site-specific requirements. Monitor construction personnel, site activity, materials, tools, equipment, and deliveries to help protect classified information and controlled areas. Conduct and review inspections and surveillance activities to identify, document, and mitigate potential security concerns. Review daily logs, reports, inspection records, and related documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timely escalation. Coordinate with project managers, security personnel, construction staff, and other stakeholders to maintain consistent security operations. Review security plans, site procedures, and proposed controls for new or ongoing construction activities. Report incidents, deviations, suspicious activity, and unresolved security concerns; support corrective-action follow-up. Remain current on relevant security technologies, secure-construction practices, and construction surveillance requirements. Required Qualifications A current, active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is required for this position. U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to provide a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card if required for the assignment. Minimum age of 18 years. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Surveillance Technician or in a closely related construction surveillance role. Valid CST certification required. Ability to interpret, apply, and clearly communicate security requirements in an active construction environment. Ability to work effectively in a Windows-based operating environment and maintain accurate security documentation. Ability to safeguard classified and sensitive information and follow established reporting and escalation procedures. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting secure construction projects for government, military, Intelligence Community, or other cleared customers. Experience guiding or training CSTs, construction personnel, or site stakeholders on security procedures. Knowledge of DoD ICD 705 requirements or experience supporting SCIF construction. Experience with physical security workflows or data center environments. Familiarity with construction drawings, site-security plans, inspection documentation, and secure-construction procedures. Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines, or project activities in a fast-paced environment.

Work schedules and shifts may vary based on project needs, construction activity, and mission requirements. No travel is required. Must be able to stand, walk, observe, and monitor construction activity for extended periods. Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and construction-site environments. May be exposed to noise, dust, uneven surfaces, and other conditions commonly associated with active construction sites. Must be able to comply with all site safety, security, access-control, and personal protective equipment requirements. Must be free of color blindness. Compensation Overview This position is anticipated to pay $48.00 per hour. Final compensation may depend on contract requirements, candidate qualifications, experience, work location, and applicable law. No travel is required.
