Job Description
Company Overview Jalisco International Inc is a Colorado-based Heavy Highway General Contractor that has been building Colorado's roads and bridges since 1985. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations on road and bridge projects. Heavy Civil Superintendent experience is mandatory for this position. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing crews, managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules and budgets, and ensuring project compliance with all contract and safety standards. Responsibilities Collaborate with Project Managers to plan and execute construction projects. Review project plans to establish timelines, work plans, and procedures. Oversee daily site operations to ensure adherence to project schedules.
Maintain professional development to improve individual and team productivity. Develop solutions to on-site issues as they arise. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency. Facilitate communication among project management and team members.

QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in construction management or as a Project Superintendent. Strong knowledge of project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6) and construction management tools. Familiarity with heavy highway construction regulations and safety practices on highway construction sites. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. Ability to communicate effectively. Work Environment The role entails working in both office and outdoor conditions, including exposure to inclement weather heat. Special Requirements Must successfully pass controlled substance tests before and during employment. A valid driver's license with a clean MVR is mandatory.
