If you are a dedicated, motivated professional we encourage you to apply. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Superintendent at Viking Construction, Inc. Field Superintendent will be responsible for all aspects of the construction process to achieve a successfully completion. The ideal candidate will have a carpentry background and minimum of 10 years of experience in large scale multifamily projects. Must possess strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as polished and appropriate client relations. This role requires working on-sites throughout Connecticut, primary in Fairfield County but not limited to.
Responsibilities:
Be able to understand contract drawings and perform quality control duties. Confirmation that the work being performed is in compliance with contract documents and agreed upon scope of work. Maintain and update Procore Project management software via on site computers/iPad. Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion and maintenance of the master schedule. Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions. Maintain subcontractor compliance to established safety program. Identify conflicts in progress and communicate them for timely resolution. Maintain daily written log of activities via Procore. Supplement the hands-on work of the field crew as needed. Perform job progress and completion punch list.Qualifications:
10 years' experience in large scale multi family OSHA 10 (minimum) Valid Driver's License Ability to communicate, follow directions and have own transportation Compensation- Salary Range
