Competitive salary Employee discounts Training & development We are seeking an experienced and motivated Event Tent Installation Foreman to lead our installation crew. This position is responsible for supervising tent installation teams, ensuring the timely and safe setup and breakdown of tents, stages, dance floors, lighting, and related event equipment at customer sites throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in tent installation and demonstrate strong leadership abilities in managing crews and coordinating event installations. Schedule is Monday through Friday approximately 730am to 530pm. Some occasional night and weekend work. Complete application/ email resume only. No phone calls please. Supervision & Leadership Lead and supervise tent installation crews on job sites Coordinate daily work assignments and ensure crew members understand installation plans Train crew members on proper installation techniques and safety procedures Conduct pre-job site assessments and review installation plans with team Ensure all installations meet company standards and customer specifications Installation & Setup Oversee the installation and dismantling of party tents, frame tents, pole tents, and sailcloth tents Direct setup of stages, dance floors, tables, chairs, and event lighting Ensure proper installation and layout of all rentals per agreement, specifications, and CAD diagrams Work closely with Operations team to coordinate event timelines Inspect tents and accessories for damages before and after installations Safety & Quality Control Enforce all safety guidelines and company procedures on job sites Conduct quality inspections to ensure installations meet standards Address any issues or concerns that arise during installations Ensure crew compliance with manufacturer guidelines for tent structures Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job Required Qualifications Previous experience in tent installation is required Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret installation plans, diagrams, and specifications Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and varied schedules based on event demands Physical capability to perform demanding work including: Lifting up to 80 pounds or more Bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods Working outdoors in various weather conditionsSimilar remote jobs
