Company Overview For over 50 years, Paul Davis has specialized in restoring residential and commercial properties damaged by fire, water, mold, and natural disasters, with more than 300 independently owned and operated franchises nationwide. Paul Davis Restoration of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast were purchased in November 2023, with Kevin Fagan serving as General Manager and overseeing operations. In 2024, Palm Beach County generated approximately $3.5M in revenue, while the Treasure Coast generated approximately $1M, for a combined $4.5M. The Palm Beach County operation continues to grow, with a focus on building a strong leadership team and delivering exceptional restoration services. What You'll Do As a Reconstruction Project Manager , you will take full ownership of the project lifecycle, from damage assessment through job completion. You'll lead your team, liaise with clients and insurers, and ensure every restoration meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project teams including foremen, tradespeople, and subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality work. Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, insurance representatives, and internal stakeholders. Oversee multiple concurrent restoration projects with attention to budget, schedule, and scope. Utilize estimating software (Xactimate or similar) to develop accurate scopes and cost estimates. Ensure full compliance with industry regulations (IICRC, OSHA, local building codes). Resolve job site challenges calmly and proactively, maintaining momentum toward project completion. Monitor financial performance and report on profit margins, timelines, and customer satisfaction. Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response duties as needed.
Requirements:
5+ years of relevant restoration, mitigation, or reconstruction experience preferred. Experience in the reconstruction / mitigation world required. Xactimate experience required. Symbility and Docusketch experience preferred. Experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters. Ability to write estimates and manage claim-related documentation. Understanding of mitigation, rebuild, and program work. Strong communication and customer service skills. Strong problem-solving ability. Able to manage multiple moving pieces without needing constant answers from ownership. Comfortable working with customers during stressful property damage situations. Must understand how restoration teams, mitigation crews, repair crews, and insurance adjusters work together. Must be comfortable with on-call rotation and restoration-related urgency.
