We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager who combines practical field leadership with strong organization, financial awareness, and professional communication. About the Role Your time will primarily be spent at active jobsites, leading subcontractors, verifying quality, resolving issues, and keeping construction moving. Office attendance is required as needed for meetings, planning, and coordination. You will manage projects from preconstruction handoff through final inspections and closeout, with support from our Operations Manager and office administrator. Direct subcontractor supervision and daily field coordination are core responsibilities of this position. Responsibilities Lead subcontractors and coordinate daily activities, trade sequencing, manpower, materials, and jobsite access. Maintain project schedules and weekly look-aheads, confirming trade readiness before work begins. Review drawings and scopes, coordinate MEP installations, and resolve conflicts with architects and engineers. Verify workmanship against approved plans and specifications and address deficiencies promptly. Coordinate inspections and uphold jobsite safety, cleanliness, and company standards. Build productive subcontractor relationships through clear expectations, professional communication, and consistent accountability. Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and long-lead items with office support. Track project costs, review subcontractor invoices, and coordinate billing milestones with the office. Document scope changes and obtain required approvals before authorizing additional work. Maintain daily logs, progress photos, and accurate project records in Buildertrend. Lead project meetings and communicate progress, risks, and decisions needed. Follow established company procedures and approval limits. Drive punch lists, final inspections, and closeout to completion. Qualifications At least 5 years of relevant commercial construction experience, including project management and direct field supervision. Strong background in commercial tenant improvements or interior build-outs. Proven ability to lead subcontractors and manage projects from start to finish. Healthcare, dental, medical, or surgical facility experience preferred. Strong understanding of construction drawings, sequencing, MEP coordination, permitting, and inspections. Excellent organization, communication, financial awareness, and follow-through. Ability to resolve disagreements professionally and recommend practical solutions. Experience with Buildertrend or comparable construction management software. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between South Florida jobsites.
