Simplify Home is a growing design-build residential construction company serving Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and surrounding Southwest Florida communities. We specialize in high-quality residential renovations, including kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home remodels and larger custom residential projects. We are looking for an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to take ownership of the day-to-day field execution of our construction projects. This is a hands-on, field-based leadership position—not a desk-based project management role. The right candidate is highly organized, understands residential construction from demolition through finish work, knows how to manage subcontractors, maintains high quality standards, and identifies problems before they become delays or expensive mistakes. The Superintendent will work directly with company ownership, our design team, field support staff and subcontractors to deliver an organized and professional construction experience for our clients. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day field operations across assigned residential renovation projects Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries and inspections Develop and maintain project schedules and rolling two-week lookaheads Confirm upcoming trades, materials, access and site readiness in advance Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and scopes of work Understand proper construction sequencing from demolition through final finishes Inspect workmanship and enforce company quality standards Perform critical quality-control checks before work is concealed or subsequent trades begin Identify plan conflicts, unforeseen conditions and potential construction issues early Immediately communicate issues affecting scope, cost, quality or schedule Maintain clean, organized, protected and client-ready job sites Document project activity with daily logs, photos and field notes Maintain ongoing quality-control and punch lists throughout construction Coordinate inspections and assist with code-compliance requirements Communicate professionally with homeowners when appropriate Hold subcontractors accountable for schedule, workmanship and completion Coordinate closely with our interior design team to ensure field execution matches approved plans and selections Use Houzz Pro and other company systems to maintain accurate project information Help develop and improve Simplify Home's standardized construction processes What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has 5+ years of residential construction experience, preferably involving high-end remodeling, renovations or custom homes. Strong candidates should have experience with subcontractor coordination, scheduling, plan reading, inspections, quality control and residential construction sequencing. Experience with kitchens, bathrooms and whole-home renovations is particularly valuable because renovation work requires the ability to recognize existing conditions and solve field problems that are not always shown on drawings. Southwest Florida construction experience is strongly preferred. Experience with Buildertrend, Houzz Pro, CoConstruct, JobTread, Procore or similar construction-management software is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required. The Person We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes ownership. You should be the type of superintendent who knows what is happening on your projects today, what is happening tomorrow, what materials are needed, which decisions are outstanding and what could prevent the next milestone from being achieved. Problems are expected in construction. Surprises caused by poor communication or lack of planning are not. You should be comfortable holding subcontractors accountable while maintaining strong working relationships with them. Quality matters. We expect our Superintendent to personally inspect critical work rather than assuming it was completed correctly. Organization and communication are equally important. Project schedules, field conditions, progress photos, open issues and upcoming work must be documented consistently. What Success Looks Like Within the first 90 days, the successful candidate should be capable of independently managing assigned field operations without requiring the company owner to personally coordinate subcontractors or visit every project each day.

Current schedules and two-week lookaheads Upcoming trades confirmed in advance Materials available when needed Clean and protected job sites Consistent progress documentation Strong quality control Minimal rework Issues identified and escalated early Continuous punch-list management Predictable completion dates The goal is simple: well-planned projects, excellent workmanship, accountable subcontractors and no surprises. Compensation & Growth Base salary: $80,000-$100,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional compensation may include a performance-based bonus tied to project execution, schedule, quality, documentation and overall performance. This position includes a 90-day introductory performance period. The right candidate will have significant opportunity to grow with Simplify Home. As the company expands, this position can develop into a Senior Superintendent or Production Manager role, including responsibility for helping build and eventually lead our field-production team. Local travel between active projects throughout Naples and surrounding Southwest Florida communities is required.
