Position Overview We are currently hiring for an upcoming commercial project in the West Palm Bay area with a fast-approaching start date. Contigo Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent / Foreman to lead field operations for the project. This position will be responsible for supervising electrical crews, coordinating daily field activities, maintaining productivity and quality, and ensuring installations are completed safely and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and applicable electrical codes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader who can effectively manage manpower, communicate with project management and other trades, anticipate project needs, and keep work progressing according to schedule. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electricians and electrical helpers assigned to the project. Plan and coordinate daily and weekly field activities based on project priorities and schedule. Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, one-lines, panel schedules, and other construction documents. Coordinate electrical installations with project management, the general contractor, other trades, inspectors, and field personnel. Direct layout and installation of conduit, feeders, branch circuits, panels, lighting, controls, devices, and electrical equipment. Organize manpower and assign work based on project needs and crew capabilities. Monitor field productivity, quality, material needs, and project progress. Identify field conflicts, changes, and coordination issues and communicate them promptly to project management. Maintain quality control and ensure installations meet company standards and applicable electrical codes. Enforce company and project safety requirements, including PPE, housekeeping, and safe work practices. Coordinate tools, equipment, material staging, and deliveries. Maintain accurate daily reports and required field documentation. Support inspections, testing, punch-list completion, startup, and project closeout. Qualifications Strong commercial electrical construction experience. Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Electrician, or similar field leadership position. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and installation methods. Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, one-lines, schedules, and construction documents. Working knowledge of the NEC and applicable electrical codes. Experience planning manpower and coordinating multiple field activities. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to troubleshoot field conditions and resolve installation issues efficiently. Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship. Ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the project site. Electrical license, journeyman credential, or equivalent certification preferred.
