The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout. Medical/healthcare construction experience is required , with experience in ground-up commercial and retail construction strongly preferred . This is a full-time, in-person position based out of our Pompano Beach office. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM , with some travel to active project sites required. Responsibilities Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout. Manage project budgets, schedules, cost projections, procurement, and overall project performance. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, owners, and field personnel. Prepare, review, and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation. Review construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and subcontractor proposals. Lead project meetings and maintain clear, professional communication with clients and project stakeholders. Work closely with project superintendents to maintain project schedules, quality standards, and jobsite expectations. Monitor project costs and schedules and proactively identify and resolve potential issues. Coordinate permitting, inspections, long-lead materials, punch lists, and project closeout requirements. Manage subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed in accordance with contract documents and project requirements. Maintain organized and accurate project records throughout the life of each project. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, design professionals, and vendors. Travel to active project sites as required. Required Qualifications Medical/healthcare construction experience is required. Previous experience as a Construction Project Manager managing commercial construction projects. Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls. Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades. Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project closeout. Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and construction/project management software. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required. Preferred Qualifications Ground-up commercial construction experience. Retail construction experience. Experience managing projects in multiple markets or locations. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management platforms.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$80,000-$110,000 per year , based on experience and qualifications. 10 days of paid time off (PTO). 401(k) with company match after 90 days of employment. Full-time, year-round position.
