Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, dependable, and proactive Property Maintenance & Construction Coordinator to oversee maintenance, repairs, construction projects, and general property needs across multiple commercial locations. This is a hands-on, field-based position for someone who is comfortable working independently, solving problems, coordinating multiple projects at once, and taking ownership of their responsibilities from start to finish. We are looking for someone who does not need to be constantly directed or reminded of what needs to be done. The ideal candidate can assess a situation, determine the appropriate next steps, communicate with the necessary people, and keep projects moving efficiently. Electrical experience is highly preferred, and candidates who are licensed or certified electricians are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience in other skilled trades, commercial maintenance, construction, or property management is also valuable.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day maintenance and repair needs across multiple commercial properties and retail locations
- Regularly visit locations to inspect properties, identify issues, and address maintenance needs proactively
- Coordinate and oversee contractors, electricians, plumbers, HVAC companies, sign companies, and other vendors
- Handle smaller repairs and maintenance tasks directly when appropriate
- Assist with electrical troubleshooting and electrical-related projects based on experience and qualifications
- Coordinate construction, renovation, and improvement projects from start to completion
- Obtain quotes, schedule vendors, follow up on outstanding work, and ensure projects are completed properly and on time
- Assist with permits, inspections, code compliance matters, and communication with local municipalities when necessary
- Keep management consistently updated on project status, problems, delays, costs, and completed work
- Maintain organized records of ongoing projects, repairs, vendor information, quotes, and property needs
- Prioritize multiple projects and determine what requires immediate attention
- Identify potential problems before they become larger or more expensive issues
- Work closely and cooperatively with management, store employees, vendors, landlords, and other members of the team
- Take ownership of assigned projects and follow through without requiring constant supervision Above all, we are looking for someone who is smart, resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of working independently!!!! The right person for this position should be:

Preferred Experience:
- Electrical experience strongly preferred
- Licensed or certified electrician is a major plus
- Commercial property maintenance experience
- Construction or renovation experience
- Experience coordinating contractors and vendors
- General knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, building maintenance, and construction
- Experience with permitting, inspections, or code compliance is a plus

Pay:
