Job Description

Pre-Construction Project Bid Coordinator for General Contractor that works in several states. Work with the Estimator to post jobs for bidding, solicit subcontractor proposals for upcoming projects and bids. Phone calls and follow up emails to subcontractors, ensure bid proposal coverage of all trades involved in scope are obtained. Assists Preconstruction Team with plan and specification distribution, printing needs, perform take offs, creating binders & labels, files estimates, tracking of bid proposal coverage for multiple projects.
Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal skills Must be comfortable with making unsolicited calls daily as well as follow up Great Interpersonal skills Ability to use computer and type efficiently Basic plan reading skills a plus Soliciting subcontractor proposals for bidding projects Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize Previous construction related experience Summary In the role of Pre-Construction Project Bid Coordinator, you will be integral to the success of the company and projects we are awarded. Responsible for supporting the preparation and submission of project bids. This role includes gathering project details, reviewing blueprints and specifications, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors for trade scopes of work, perform take offs, assisting the estimator in preparing cost estimates, and ensuring all trades are covered and accurate. They work closely with the estimator and other team members to ensure timely and competitive bid submissions, while also helping to identify potential risks and opportunities during the bidding process.
Pay:
$47,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
