Full-Time Position Overview:
The SR Plumbing Project Manager is a hands‑on field leader responsible for driving performance, safety, quality, and efficiency on large‑scale construction projects. You will oversee all onsite plumbing activities—leading crews, coordinating production, and ensuring every plumbing installation meets strict plumbing codes, aggressive schedule expectations, and high‑level quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, skilled superintendent who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with general contractors, inspectors, trade partners, and customers. Industry guidance notes that supervisory roles in plumbing must ensure workflow efficiency, code compliance, team leadership, and coordination with other trades.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, evaluate, mentor, and train field project team members to ensure exceptional performance. Plan, organize, and direct production for all contracted plumbing scopes. Build and maintain productive relationships with customers, inspectors, general contractors, and trade partners. Participate in project meetings to proactively identify and resolve conflicts before they impact schedules. Deliver excellent customer service while meeting strict schedule and quality expectations. Ensure all plumbing installations meet company quality standards, IPC requirements, and local plumbing codes. Oversee material procurement and personnel allocation to support schedule commitments. Uphold company-wide standards for safety, quality, and industry best practices. These responsibilities align with typical superintendent/foreman role expectations, including supervision of crews, coordination with stakeholders, safety enforcement, and quality assurance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Skilled field supervisor with at least 5 years managing scopes on multimillion‑dollar plumbing projects. Active Mechanical (HVAC) or Plumbing License , or ability to obtain within 90 days . Strong knowledge of the International Plumbing Code (IPC) , local codes, and construction safety regulations. Basic computer and written communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and professional growth . Industry standards confirm that supervisory plumbing roles require deep code knowledge, team leadership, blueprint interpretation, and compliance expertise.
