Job Description

Superintendent (Interiors)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Interiors Superintendent to oversee interior construction projects from mobilization through closeout. The Superintendent will manage on-site crews, subcontractors, schedules, safety compliance, quality control, and coordination with clients and design teams to deliver interior build-outs, renovations, and fit-outs on time and on budget.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise on-site construction activities for interior projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to contract specifications.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trade contractors, and vendor deliveries; maintain clear communication and enforce scope and quality standards.

Develop, update, and manage daily and weekly schedules, monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to meet project milestones.

Perform regular field measurements and verification to support accurate installations, change orders, and as-built documentation.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including OSHA 10 requirements; conduct site safety meetings and enforce PPE and safety procedures.

Conduct quality inspections at critical milestones, proactively identify deficiencies, and coordinate corrective work to meet quality standards.

Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to resolve design or construction issues and to ensure proper sequence of work.

Prepare daily reports, site logs, subcontractor performance records, RFIs, and other project documentation as required.

Manage on-site material handling and installation sequencing to minimize rework and optimize productivity.

Mentor and train foremen and field staff on best practices, site procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on interior construction projects (commercial fit-outs, tenant improvements, or similar).Proven skills in construction site installation and field measurements with strong attention to detail.

Familiarity with Superintendent responsibilities, construction methodologies, and trade coordination.

OSHA 10 certification required; additional safety certifications preferred.

Strong knowledge of building codes, finish carpentry, millwork, MEP coordination within interior spaces, and quality control standards.

Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams and maintain client relationships.

Proficient in reading drawings, specifications, and producing accurate as-built documentation; experience with project management or scheduling software a plus.

Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and travel between project sites as needed.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
