Utility Scale Energy Storage Construction Projects throughout the
US Work Schedule:
M-F 8-10
hours/day (to start) The role of a construction project manager is to lead site installation and construction activities to the satisfactory completion of all stakeholders. He or she is the valued and trusted partner of the customer and the project team, increasing the business performance, reducing the project installation risks and enhancing the reputation of our business. The construction project manager will work with the Battery Storage organization based in the Americas, reporting to the Project Manager. Working in close cooperation with Energy Storage project and engineering teams, lead the construction site activities for battery storage projects until satisfactory completion
Focus:
Electrical/ Civil/ Mechanical Provide leadership and guidance in construction planning to the project team, interfacing and working with the project manager to minimize risk and maximize business performance Work with the client team and internal project, engineering, commissioning and business administration. Oversee contractors, sub-contractors to ensure quality and schedule are met Ensure safety guideline and requirements are followed on job sites Evaluate construction methods to determine cost-effectiveness of plans Respond to specific conditions on site, e.g. schedule delays, emergencies or other problems Will have dedicated Site Scheduler reporting to them Requirements BS/BA in an engineering discipline 10+ years of relevant experience in construction and/or related field 6+ years of experience as a construction manager and in a supervisory capacity Leadership, collaboration and business acumen including influencing skills CCM certification is a plus Demonstrated ability working in a matrixed and global organization
