America's Home Place | Custom Home Builder Company Overview America's Home Place is a trusted custom home builder with over 50 years of experience and 50+ building centers across the United States. We specialize in building quality homes on customers' land with a focus on transparency, craftsmanship, and a customer-first approach from start to finish. Position Overview America's Home Place is seeking a motivated entry-level Project Manager to join our construction team. This role is designed for recent graduates in Construction Management or related fields who are ready to take ownership of real projects in the field. You will be responsible for managing multiple residential home builds from foundation through completion while learning how to lead subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure quality standards are met. You will receive structured training and direct mentorship, with increasing responsibility as you develop in the role. Key Responsibilities Manage 5-7 residential construction projects at various stages of completion Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections across multiple job sites Monitor project schedules, job progress, and construction quality standards Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and building documents Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company requirements Communicate regularly with homeowners, trade partners, and internal teams Maintain accurate job documentation, schedules, and daily project updates Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on track Training & Development Formal onboarding and structured training program Hands-on field experience across all phases of residential construction Direct mentorship from experienced construction and operations leaders Exposure to estimating, scheduling, warranty, and production processes Clear path for advancement within construction management roles Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field Strong understanding of construction processes and terminology Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Strong organizational and time management skills Effective communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with Google Suite (scheduling or construction software a plus) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation & Benefits Highly competitive compensation package Vehicle and cell phone allowance Medical, dental, and paid time off benefits Structured training and early project ownership Long-term career advancement opportunities within the company
