Position Overview The Installation Manager is a field leadership role responsible for overseeing on-site event installations, leading crews, and ensuring Party Bound events are executed efficiently, professionally, and to the highest standard. This individual serves as an on-site operational lead for complex events, acting as the bridge between warehouse operations, crew execution, and client experience. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-pressure event environments while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. The Installation Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations and plays a critical role in setting the tone, pace, and quality standard for onsite execution. Key ResponsibilitiesOnsite Event Leadership Lead and oversee onsite installations and strikes for weddings, corporate events, social events, and custom activations Manage event crews onsite, ensuring efficient pacing, professionalism, and quality execution Execute floor plans, layouts, and design installations accurately and efficiently Conduct pre-event crew huddles to review event expectations, logistics, timelines, and responsibilities Make real-time operational decisions and problem-solve independently on-site Crew Management & Accountability Direct and delegate tasks to delivery leads, installers, and temporary labor onsite Hold crews accountable for professionalism, urgency, organization, and attention to detail Train and mentor newer crew members on Party Bound standards and procedures Promote a positive, team-oriented culture on-site Ensure crews maintain proper uniform standards and professional conduct at all times Client & Venue Experience Serve as a lead onsite representative of Party Bound Communicate professionally with planners, venues, vendors, and clients Handle onsite adjustments, changes, and challenges calmly and solution-oriented Ensure all installations reflect Party Bound's quality and presentation standards Operational Execution Oversee truck unloading/loading and ensure proper handling of inventory onsite Ensure inventory is properly wrapped, protected, and transported Maintain organization of kits, tools, packing materials, and equipment onsite Ensure venue rules, timelines, and loading procedures are followed Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure installation quality and completeness before crew departure Post-Event & Recovery Oversight Lead strike execution and ensure efficient breakdown and recovery processes Ensure inventory is accounted for and properly packed for return Report damages, missing inventory, or operational issues to the Director of Operations Ensure trucks return clean, organized, and properly closed out following events Qualifications 3+ years of experience in event production, logistics, installations, warehousing, construction, or related field Proven experience leading teams in fast-paced environments Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to lift and move heavy inventory and work long event hours as needed Experience with luxury events, rentals, staging, fabrication, or installations preferred Valid driver's license required; experience driving box trucks or trailers preferred
